本學年，本校迎接一組來自中東地區的外國家庭，Laila、Mahmoud、Omar 姊弟3人，因父母工作關係，自國外來台短暫停留。經過評估後，選擇讓三個孩子就讀本校：姊姊就讀小一，兩位弟弟則在幼兒園就學。

孩子的母語並非英語，雖然在校時間不到8個月，孩子們卻展現極佳的適應力，迅速融入校園生活，中英文能力也有顯著進步，孩子活潑大方，與班上同學建立了深厚情誼，深受大家喜愛。

此外，2個弟弟剛到本校幼兒園時，中英文都不懂，但是他們的中英文都在本校進步神速。不僅有簡單的會話能力，尤其是讀大班的哥哥，他離開前已能跟外國同學和老師以英文侃侃而談，也一路過關斬將，進到Speech contest 的決賽，成為班上的驕傲。

隨著家長工作告一段落，全家即將整裝返國。在離別前夕，班上特別舉辦溫馨惜別會，老師也精心整理孩子在班上的學習點滴與成長回憶，讓她感受到滿滿的溫暖與愛。

全班師生依依不捨，並致贈禮物表達最真摯的祝福。這段相遇雖然短暫，卻成為彼此心中珍貴而美好的回憶。

祝福這一家人在未來的旅程中一切順利、平安喜樂；也期待未來有機會時，孩子們能再次回到本校，延續這份珍貴的緣分。

Friends from afar may stay only briefly at our school, yet leave lasting memories behind.

This school year, our school welcomed an international family from the Middle East. Due to their parents’ work assignment in Taiwan, siblings Laila, Mahmoud, and Omar studied at our school — the eldest in Grade 1 and the younger brothers in kindergarten.

In less than eight months, the children adapted quickly, improved their Chinese skills significantly, and formed close friendships with classmates through their cheerful and friendly personalities.

As the family prepares to return home, teachers and classmates held a warm farewell party and shared gifts and memories to express their love and best wishes. Though their time here was short, the precious friendship and memories they created will remain in everyone’s hearts.

We wish the family peace, happiness, and success in their future journey, and hope to welcome them back again someday.
