At Ritz Academy, reading is more than just part of the curriculum—it is a natural part of learning. Each class develops its own unique approach to promoting reading. Taking Class 102 as a model, we make good use of morning reading time and our specially-designed “Reading & Writing” to steadily cultivate students’ reading and writing habits, allowing learning to begin with quiet reading and grow into confident expression.

The classroom is also equipped with a dedicated reading space and a book lending system, making books easily accessible anytime. Chapter books are generously shared by parents, picture books come from Ms. Stacey’s personal collection built over the years, science books are donated by the vice principal for lower-grade students, and foreign language books are carefully selected from the school library. The diverse collection ensures every child can find something they enjoy.
