“I Believe I Can Fly!” 麗喆小一兒童節特別活動

Grade 1 Children's Day Special Program - “I Believe I Can Fly!”

麗喆雙語中小學的外籍教師群，在兒童節前夕特別規劃了一個＂I Believe I Can Fly！＂的 ESL 教學活動。

在活動開始時，所有外師都一律穿著有鴨子圖案的衣飾，讓學生用英文閱讀一個關於鴨子的故事。在故事中，鴨子除了能在陸上走路，也能在水中暢泳，牠們為了達成夢想，最後還可以在空中飛翔。之後，外師就帶領著學生一起在屬於他們的日子裡，大聲對自己許下承諾：We are truely unique! 的確如此，透過活動，外師讓麗喆的學生認識到自己的獨一無二，他們有能力去實現他們的夢想。

最後，孩子一起奔向運動場，吹出一個又一個的泡泡，把他們在兒童節的夢想都一併放進去，讓這些夢想自由地飛行著。

Happy Children’s Day, Ritz Students!

The foreign teachers at Ritz Academy specially organized an ESL teaching activity titled “I Believe I Can Fly!” in celebration of Children’s Day.

At the start of the activity, all the foreign teachers wore outfits adorned with duck patterns, allowing the students to read an English story about ducks. In the story, the ducks could not only walk on land and swim freely in water but also, in pursuit of their dreams, ultimately take flight in the sky. Following the story, the foreign teachers led the students in making bold declarations to themselves on their special day: “We are truly unique!” Indeed, through this activity, the foreign teachers helped the students at Ritz recognize their individuality and their potential to achieve their dreams.

Finally, the children ran together to the sports field, blowing bubbles one after another. They placed their Children’s Day dreams inside the bubbles and set them free, letting these dreams soar high and far.
